In new dimr versions, the extension in the dimr_config file is read and tt must be .mdu. 

For solving it:
In Line 51 of file <dimr_config> replace:
  <inputFile>rijn-flow-model.md1d</inputFile>
by

In new dimr versions, an initial dry cell can cause trouble. 

For solving it, in Line 8 of <dflowfm/InitialWaterDepth.ini> replace:

A problem with unstable morphodynamics near structures was identified. This was solved by fixing the bed around structures using option MorphoPol (<01_morphopol>)

If Sobek-RE is in a different folder, then overwrite files <cmt.ini> and <casedraw.cmt> in the project folder by those in the default one (e.g., <c:\SobekRE\Model\Default.sbk\casedraw.cmt>).
